Of that unsatiate Edward, noble York
My princely father then had wars in France

Richard’s brother, (or half-brother as he is claiming), the future Edward IV, was born on 28th April 1442, indicating a conception date around 22nd July 1441. Between 14th July and 21st August, their mother’s husband, Richard, Duke of York, was away on campaign.
Edward IV is one link in the current Queen Elizabeth’s claimed descent from William (the bastard) of Normandy. If Edward was illegitimate, then her claim to the throne is invalid, and the real King is Michael Edward Abney-Hastings, 14th Earl of Loudoun; the senior descendant of George Plantagenet, 1st Duke of Clarence (brother of Richard III and half?-brother of Edward IV.)
